Introductory

As I break out my first blog, let alone the first time in a long time that I spend my time writing about something at all. I find this to be an excellent opportunity to practice English, maybe even use a few nice vocabulary words I wouldn't normally use.

As this is the first post, I want to spend it introducing myself and the purpose of this blog.
Born and raised in Israel to two wonderful parents, my father is American and my mother is Swiss. I have four brothers, one of which is my twin. Further information would just deviate from keeping this a more professional blog, as I see it.

I went through 12 years of high-school, 3 years in the military and now I am about two years and a half after my service. That makes me a healthy 24 years old guy. I spent most of my high-school years pursuing different interests. I am skilled with the guitar and knowledgeable with a SLR camera. I took a year of psychology and then transferred to major in biology, not because it was easy, but because I was more interested in biology. I ended up with a full high-school diploma and a nice average that still has room from improvement.

The army service left me with a few traumas and probably damaged hearing. I found out I came out of the army with less then when I came in. They taught me nothing about the value of the human condition and human life. I ended up experimenting with dreams and deep dream states (like Astral Projection) and my awakening to the spiritual part of my creation led me to develop a most compassionate side to life. As a child I suffered from some sort of depression, however I learned through this spiritual walk that I want to choose life and soon after I discovered my desire to become a healer. Eventually this led me, two years later to want a more broader education, and so I want to go to medical school and see what life offers me on that path.

From this much information you might guess that the next posts would deal with my research into medicine and their doubtless connection with the body/mind/spirit complex that is the human being. I would like to end with a favorite quote, though I can't recall who said it.

"We are not human beings having a spiritual experience, but spiritual beings having a human experience."

Thank you, and may free knowledge reach the weak and start the revolution.
